The best way to start your week with a Toddler!Posted on 28th October 2018 in Art Club News
Did you ever wake up on a rainy Monday morning and think: ‘How am I going to entertain my toddler today?’.. I did! It was 2 years ago on a cold winter morning, I was stuck at home with my toddler, pregnant with baby number 2.
What are we going to do today? LEGO? Play-Doh? Facing ‘operation clean up’, after glitter exploded all over my kitchen, I found Dib Dab Art Club online! I loved the idea of creative art classes aimed for toddlers, where they would learn something new every week: about letters, numbers, nature, seasons, culture, different art techniques, all in line with the Early Years curriculum!
My daughter really enjoyed drawing, painting and making a new craft every week! She learned colours, letters, numbers, found out about nature and cultural events throughout the year. Every week we’d take home her craft, which was proudly displayed in our kitchen or on her bedroom door! My parents couldn’t believe the complex crafts she created every week, the details and how well she developed fine motor skills. Now at Reception, she’s a keen learner and can hold pencil really well!
I was surprised at how amazing the crafts look every week and we’ve been having Dib Dab Birthday Parties 2 years in a row now! Absolute hit with our kids and guests! I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to run Dib Dab Art Club classes at Brouge Twickenham! Kids lunch is included in the art class price and you can enjoy a lovely lunch too! So if you’re stuck for creative ideas for your toddler just book your trial class today!
