About Us
At Dib Dab, we’re not just creating art; we’re inspiring the next generation of creative thinkers and makers, preparing them to thrive in a world that increasingly values innovation and creative problem-solving.
Our Mission
At Dib Dab, we believe art is for everyone.
Art isn't a “soft option", but a powerful subject for personal expression, wellbeing, problem-solving, and innovation.
Our mission is make art accessible to all, and to reframe it from a “nice-to-have” to a valued and integral part of personal and educational development.
At Dib Dab, we offer art classes, workshops, and events for all ages, starting from as young as 10 months. Whether it’s finger painting for toddlers or advanced sketching and design for teens, we’re committed to nurturing a lifelong love of creativity and art.
Meet Our Founder, Jo Mitchell Long
As a practicing artist and designer, I’ve spent my entire career in the creative industries, working as a Creative Director and artist.
When my son was born, I noticed that while there were plenty of children’s clubs for sports, music, and academics, but there was a glaring lack of art-focused programs.
That realisation led me to create Dib Dab, an art club where children of all ages can immerse themselves in creativity, explore their imaginations, and grow as individuals.
I’m passionate about bringing more creativity into schools and making art accessible to all. I believe it should be considered just as essential as any other part of daily life—part of your “five-a-day.”
“Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes.
Art is knowing which ones to keep.”

"After the first class of Dib Dab my daughter was hooked!"
All week she wouldn't stop asking when the next ‘Dib Dab‘ class was! I was very impressed with the structure of the class and with the lovely art the kids created.
